Each day of our new school year has begun with a delicious carafe of french press coffee. Coincidence that it's been a great first week? I'll let you decide.
This is year 7 of homeschooling for us. As I'm talking to mom's who are just beginning their home school journey (& have nerves of the unkowns) I've shared with them that Sunday night I was having my own qualms about starting the year. I know the discipline it takes on MY part and I was really enjoying my freedom this summer!
At the same time I was also ready for structure in our days again.
So, Monday we kicked things back in not-so-high gear. Our traditional first of school blueberry streusal muffins, some lessons, a trip to an empty (yay!) Target and then the pool.
