Both of our boys have summer birthdays - Clay in June & Jackson in July.
Miraculously, both boys had parties on their actual birthdays. (miraculous, indeed, considering Addison's birthday is in November and just had last year's party two weeks ago!)
The kids get to open their presents during their evening birthday dinner once daddy gets home from work. Clay was truly excited to get his own flashpad.
Earlier in the day a few of his friends were able to come over for a pool party. A totally last minute party planned two days before his birthday. He'd been so excited counting down to his birthday and it wasn't until two days prior that he informed me he was excited about his PARTY. There was no party yet planned so I got busy texting some friends to come over.
Yesterday Jackson turned four and had been requesting a Paw Patrol party - odd, since as far as I know he'd never seen the show.
With his birthday on a Sunday we invited friends and grandparents to come over for a pizza party after church.
