Last week was our first parent practicum of the season. It's a free three day parent equipping event & also a little mini vacation as the kids are all in camps during the day. (Insert happy dance!)
Addison was in a history class and one of the activities was a performance from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
I couldn't believe how excited she was to perform! She read the entire script to me on our drive home Thursday. It took FOREVER and three of the other kids fell asleep while she was reading!
At home she was planning & packing costumes for she & a friend & couldn't wait to act in the play - she even brought her play make-up set.
Addison was one of the fairies (she was severely disappointed that she didn't get the part of Helena) and when we went to the park during baseball practice she tried to get the other kids to make believe they were characters from the play.
she is looking so grown up!
