Ray's grandma passed away on Monday. He was with her - stroking her hair & singing "My Redeemer" when it happened. It's been an emotional time & the memorial service is planned for Tuesday.
Prior to these events Ray had scored free tickets to Disney on Ice! We kept it a secret from the kids & went Thursday night. When Ray.booked the date he didn't realize I was in the middle of my 3 day practicum. Thursday at 7pm wasn't the best timing, but, after practicum that day, the kids & I drove downtown & picked up Ray. We enjoyed Eddie & Sam's for a pizza dinner & then went to the arena.
When we told the kids what we were doing the girls were dissapoibted because they thought THEY would get to ice skate. Clay didn't want to be there because he thought HE would have to ice skate. Silly kids!
All said & done they enjoyed themselves & it was a nicely timed show.
