Hunker down, hunker down, hunker down...can we think of another phrase to use???
I heard one reporter use that phrase three times in the span of about 2 minutes. But the main weather man for the same station refuses to use that phrase at all (to "join in that drinking game" as he put it). Thinking about it, maybe some reporters are purposefully using that phrase for people who are playing the drinking game. :)
They also just showed a reporter in Lake Wales (remember Spook Hill, Megan? That's where he was) & they were showing an area where a transformer was burning & suddenly it blew & the whole town went dark...it looked pretty cool. But the poor people without power.
Right now the wind has been picking up outside & the rain seems to come & go. Possibly no power tomorrow, we'll see. Stay safe!
