Two Sundays ago we had the speaker from church and his wife over for lunch - they just happen to be the parents of one of my dearest friends, Ruth.
It was such a treat to have them visiting from Michigan. As soon as John began speaking in the morning I was missing Ruth! (A number of times I've taken a solo trip to visit her around this time of year and I'm really wanting to go again!)
Robert & Briana joined us for lunch - a Cuban feast complete with flan - I LOVE flan.
