Yep, Brooke is already 12 weeks old today.
Just over the past week she's started to develop these adorable & slightly ridiculous looking curls above her ears.
Brooke also laughed for the first time last week! It was so adorable, we were at my parent's house.
She weighs around 13 pounds now & moved up to size 2 diapers and size 3-6 month clothing at 10 weeks old.
When we were on our Fall trip Brooke rolled over from front to back for the first time at Ruth & Ernie' house. She was 6 weeks old.
Speaking of trips, I figured out that at 6 weeks old Brooke had traveled to 10 different states.
She's sleeping like a champ. From a few weeks old she's been going for 7-9 hour stretches, nursing & then going back to sleep. Last week she did a full night of 11/12 hours & has done it again this week!
(Before you call me lucky I should say that I do have to work to help them sleep at night. None of my kids have ever had severe health issues to keep them from being able to sleep through the night so getting them into a sleep routine has always worked so that they sleep 10-12 hours a night by the time they're 12 weeks old.)
She's started smiling a lot, I think her first real smile were around 6-8 weeks old. When I get Brooke out of bed in the morning she gives me the biggest smiles when she first sees me. She is still sleeping in our room so that it's easy to get to her in case she does wake up at night.
It's amazing how much all of her older siblings love her, even the boys. Addison likes to carry her everywhere, Kate always wants to hold her, Clay loves to "pet" her & say "She's just SO cute!" & Jackson is always leaning in to kiss Brooke & say "hi baby!"
