Today we doesn'two birthday parties to attend. The first at an ice skating rink & the next at the
beach.
It entailed some strange packing: gathering bathing suits & sunscreen for one bag & then making sure we had jackets & socks.
My kids had never been ice skating before & they really enjoyed it!
FYI- Florida kids are hilarious when it comes to ice skating. "Why are these skates so heavy?" "These skates are itchy." (Remember, we live in flip flops year round)
These boys wanted nothing to do with skating.
After skating it was time for pizza, popcorn & cake.

The parties were only about 20 minutes away from each other but we had some time to kill so we made a refueling stop.
The next party was at honeymoon island.
We traded the jackets for attire appropriate for our natural habitat. It took Jackson two minutes to start eating the sand.
