So Saturday night Ray's "team" from work was having a meeting at the home of their team leader, Avril (wife of Ray's former boss Jim & a couple at the chapel). Hoenstly, no one was really looking forwward to it. They were working on their peronal budgets so spouses were supposed to attend as well. Macaroni Grill was catered in (one of my least favorite restaurant's but this office seems to have an obsession with it) and then we wokred on the budgets.
The good thing is that Ray does our budget over & over again, so nothing came as a suprise to us & we found out our budget lines right up with what we spend anyway.
Most of the people on this team are from church, including Jerry & Aven who used to teach dance. They're amazingly good so Avril had them give us lessons after dessert. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!
We had great music on & first they taught us meringue. What really suprised me is how into it Ray was. I found out the reason he doesn't like to dance other times is because of the lack of teaching. Anyway, we had a lot of fun. They also taught us a little swing dancing & of course we had to do the electric slide.
It was so much fun! We were there dancing until after 11:00. You would have loved it mom.
On another note, it was about 10:30 that night when Ray & I were dancing & he looked at me & said, "You got your hair cut, it looks good!" Well, yes I did, & after four hours he finally noticed it. Maybe not unusual for your typical guy but Ray almost always notices that kind of thing.
Anyway, lots of fun was had & I'm ready to dance again!
