Throwback to 3 weeks and 1 day ago

On Tuesday, February 25, my mom, sister, and nephew were in town. We went to thr beach with one of my friends and her kids.

As we were driving home my sister was reading me updates regarding the coronavirus or COVID-19.

That day the CDC came out with this announcement: "It's not so much a question of if this will happen anymore, but rather more a question of exactly when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness."

We went home and cleaned up from the beach and then went to Costco to stock up on some bare necessities (e.g. a 25lb. bag of rice, canned beans, a jar of minced garlic, etc.).

We then proceeded to watch pandemic movies every night she was here and stay up to date on daily news coming out about the virus.

Not much changed other than our intrigue  with the situation. We still went to Legoland for a field trip on Thursday - I did buy hand sanitizer the night before the field trip in order to have it while at the theme park - went back to the store two days later and they were sold out. 😯
