A week after our visit with Ruth & Ernie we were blessed to finally see Eddie, Sarah & family again!
After living overseas for a couple of years we were really missing them. For over a year the kids (especially Addison) had been asking when we'd see them again. At least on a weekly basis. This was another reason I was thankful to have them back!!!
Over the course of two weeks we spent lots of time catching up. They came for dinner, we met at a local water park & visited Trader Joe's, they came to church with us, stayed the night, & then came back & stayed for another week with us. A week full of pool visits, delicious food, movie date & even a boat trip!
Seriously, how cute are these boys?
The kids. Next year we can add two more around the table now that Brooke is born & Sarah is expecting!
Eddie is a fabulous cook & I always look forward to the delicacies he prepares.
Sarah & I went out for our traditional movie night with lots of candy. The movie of the evening was the newest Mission Impossible, although the movie never matters much as the fun of going out together (as a result we've seen a doozy or two over the years).
The kids took it upon themselves to have a tea party, complete with homemade paper fans.
On their last full day with us Ray took off of work & we rented a pontoon boat to go scalloping. The place was an hour away plus another hour boat ride into the water.
Seeing as I was a week from my due date we didn't it would be wise for me to go so I stayed home with Jackson.
They didn't find any scallops but they seemed to have a great time!
Magnus declared it the "best day ever!!"
We had so much fun with our friends & can't wait to see them again this weekend.
